Graford ISD Partners with Carter BloodCare

Did you know that more than 1,200 blood donors are needed each day for patients in our community hospitals? We believe it’s never too early for students to learn about how volunteerism makes us all stronger and makes our community a better place.
Graford ISD is joining Carter BloodCare to host a blood drive to help save lives, and in the process, try to earn a $500 grant. We need to make our goal of 23 or more donors at the blood drive on Wednesday, March 6.
There will be another blood drive on Monday, May 20, and we need to make the goal at that one too. You can donate blood every 56 days, so you will be eligible to donate again. Anyone 16 or older can sign up. The below resources can help you learn more about giving blood.

When you present to give, indicate which student you are supporting. All students who recruit a donor to the blood drive will receive a Jr. Leaders medal and the class with the most donors wins a party!
