The School Board of the Graford Independent School District met in a special meeting, Tuesday, July 10, 2007,  at 7:00 p.m. with the following members in attendance: Jakie Long, Matt Biery, Kay Lynn Bridges, Hal Brown, Eddie Laney, Mike Pendergraft, Ronnie Ranft and Chance Welch, Superintendent.

 

President Jakie Long called the meeting to order.

There was a quorum present.

1.         DNA (LOCAL) Policy presented by Superintendent Chance Welch, discussion only.

 

            The Graford ISD School Board went into closed session at 7:03 p.m. and came out at 7:20 p.m.

            Govt. Code 551.074

            No motions or votes were made in closed session it was for discussion only

 

2.         District Personnel:

                        a. N / A

                        b. Motion by Bridges, seconded by Brown to approve the hire of Sunny Lee as Secondary

                            Science Teacher.

                                                                        Motion Carried: 7 – 0

                        d. Motion by Bridges, seconded by Laney, to approve the hire of Diane Ivy as Teacher / Head

                            Girls Basketball Coach.
