Graford ISD
Library and Media Center

The Library Media Center is now located in the new high school wing.

Through provisions of a recent grant, the library is now a member of the Texas Library Collection.  Students and staff now have access to a wide variety of resources through this web site.

It allows searching of several educational databases, Britannica Online and other library collections in the state.  We also have the ability to borrow items from other libraries through InterLibrary Loan.

The grant has also provided for a new computer lab of 10 workstations.  We are also automating the library so that the entire collection will be cataloged into the computer.  This will make it easier for students and teachers to search for resources.
The library also offers a large selection of current magazines available for overnight checkout, along with the Mineral Wells Index and the Lake Country Sun.  Books may be checked out for two weeks.
         Book Fines

Patrons have a one-day grace period for overdue items, but the fine accrues from the second day until the item is returned.

  Elementary Students:          $0.05/Day

  Secondary Students:            $0.10/Day

Faculty and Staff:                 No fines if
                                                     returned
