The School Board of the Graford Independent School District met in a regular meeting, Thursday, March 29, 2007, at 7:00 p.m., with the following members in attendance: Jakie Long, Matt Biery, Hal Brown, Eddie Laney, Mike Pendergraft, Susan Wolfe and Chance Welch, Superintendent.

 

President Jakie Long called the meeting to order.

There was a quorum present.

1.         Campus Reports:

2.         Mr. Welch, GISD Superintendent and Mischelle Davis, GISD Business Manager presented a Custom Survey Report to the School Board.

 

3.         Motion by Bridges, seconded by Pendergraft, to approve Claims Administrative Services as GISD Worker’s Compensation Insurance for the 2007 – 2008 school year.

4.         Motion by Wolfe, seconded by Biery, to receive and accept the certification of unopposed candidates.

5.         Motion by Bridges, seconded by Wolfe, to adopt the Order of Cancellation of the May 12, 2007 Board of Trustees Election.

6.         Motion by Brown, seconded by Pendergraft, to approve the 2007-2008 school calendar as presented.

7.         Motion by Bridges, seconded by Wolfe, to use the TASB model contracts and addendums.

8.         Motion by Brown, seconded by Bridges, to move the April 26, 2007 Board Meeting to 6:00 p.m.

9.         Motion by Laney, seconded by Brown, to approve the minutes of the February 26, 2007 regular School Board meeting.

            The Graford ISD School Board went into closed session at 7:50 p.m. and came out at 8:27 p.m.

            No motions or votes were made in closed session it was for discussion only

                            attached list.
