The School Board of the Graford Independent School District met in a special meeting, Tuesday, November 13, 2007, at 7:00 p.m., with the following members in attendance: Matt Biery, Kay Lynn Bridges, Eddie Laney, Mike Pendergraft, Ronnie Ranft and Chance Welch, Superintendent.

Vice President Matt Biery called the meeting to order.

There was a quorum present.

The Graford ISD School Board went into closed session at 7:01 p.m. and came out at 7:18 p.m.

No motions or votes were made in closed session it was for discussion only

1. District Personnel:

a. Motion by Bridges, seconded by Laney, to approve the hire of Holly Witte as Junior High

Science Teacher, pending certification.

Motion Carried: 5 - 0

For: All members present

Against: None

b. Motion by Pendergraft, seconded by Bridges, to approve the hire of Iris Burkett as

Kindergarten Teacher.

Motion Carried: 5 - 0

For: All members present

Against: None

c. Motion by Pendergraft, seconded by Laney, to approve the hire of Sandra Harris as bus driver

and also adding Sandra Harris and Courtney Thompson to the Substitute-Teaching list.

Motion Carried: 5 – 0

For: All members present
